Frequently Asked Questions
Do you paint the inside or the outside of the windows?
I paint the exterior of the glass. This gives the best visibility from the street, avoids indoor glare/reflections, and holds up better outdoors.
How long will the artwork last?
Painted windows typically last the whole season (4–8 weeks, depending on weather). Designs are done with durable acrylics made to handle Wisconsin’s fall and winter conditions.
How is the paint removed?
When you book, we’ll schedule a removal date. I use a professional window cleaner and scraper to remove the design, leaving the glass clean and clear.
Can I remove it myself?
Yes. If you prefer to handle removal, a razor blade scraper and glass cleaner will do the trick. Just note that I can take care of it for you as part of the booking.
What themes or designs can I request?
Anything seasonal—fall leaves, pumpkins, Halloween, Thanksgiving, winter wonderlands, snowflakes, Christmas, New Year’s—or a fully custom design to match your brand.
How long does it take to paint?
Small windows can be done in under an hour. Larger or multi-window scenes may take a few hours. I’ll give you a time estimate once we confirm your design.

What do I need to do before my appointment?
